This is one of the first really good mixes I did early on in my DJ career. This is from around 2000 or so (maybe earlier) and I just taught myself how to DJ about a year or two before that. Ya you heard me right, I taught myself, suckas. I didn't have any DJ friends to watch and learn from so forgive me if I have a few bumps along the way.
Like I said, I think this came out solid as hell and is a sick compilation of old school and early 90's tracks. I can bump this in the ride and have it take me back to the good old days. Take a listen for yourself and let me know what you think:

Welcome to Dj RyB's Hip Hop Mixtapes Podcast. You'll find my Hip Hop Hits series along with some Old School mixes from years past. I'll also post some projects I've done for underground artist Anonimus.
I specialize in non-stop Hip Hop and R&B to keep the party moving, so subscribe if you like the uptempo club vibe. I've been known to drop the occasional underground, reggae or house mix once in awhile, so be on the look out for a variety of mixes as well.
Keep in mind that all of my mixes are done on the fly, one time, with no edits or re-dos or help from editing software. If I screw up a few mixes or scratches, that's life!
